The council is affiliated with the parish of St. Andrew (Clemson), St. Paul the Apostle (Seneca) and St. Francis (Walhalla). Like all Knights councils this council is active in church community life, and many charitable organizations like Operation Hope, Right to Life, Special Olympics and many more. Our 3rd Degree monthly business meeting is the first Thursday of the month at 7pm. The 4th Degree Assembly business meeting is the second Thursday of the month at 7pm.

The Knights of Columbus, Father Thomas Tierney Council 6884, Seneca SC was chartered by the Supreme Council of the Knights of Columbus on April 3, 1977.

On February 22, 1977, the council number 6884 was assigned and the council was to be named Father Thomas Tierney, after a former parish pastor. Admission Degree and Officer Installation was scheduled for March 19, 1977. The District Deputy, Leo Berni, spoke on protocol at meetings.
